Entry age into the insurance: maximum 34 years Term: Maximum 60 months

Students who are enrolled at state, state-recognized or private universities in the Federal Republic of Germany, as well as course participants, language students and interns can be insured if the language course or internship is a prerequisite for starting a course of study. Pupils and doctoral students can also be insured. Insured persons who are subject to compulsory social insurance also receive compulsory nursing care insurance.
